Plambeck, who joined the company in April 2022 as Senior VP Sales in the UK, has also had his remit extended, giving him responsibility for all Computop’s non-EU business.
Based in the UK, Philip Plambeck will provide a single point of access to the roster of global customers, allowing the team at Computop’s HQ in Germany to focus on core business. He aims to add to the new customers he has welcomed over the past 20 months.
“Since joining us, Philip has proven his considerable ability to manage client business and oversee our operations outside Germany and the EU,” said Ralf Gladis, CEO at Computop. “As our key representative based in the UK, he is ideally placed to work closely with our growing international customer base, for instance in the United States, enabling access to our large network of financial and tech partners. We have every confidence that his promotion will reinforce our leading position in the payments market globally.”

Outside the UK Philip Plambeck is Team Lead within Computop’s international sales team which is headed up by Irene Liberal, Head of Sales Global.
