Computop was founded in 1997 by Ralf Gladis and Frank Arnoldt in Bamberg, Germany. They continue to manage and own the company successfully as directors. In 2010, Computop appointed Stephan Kück to develop and manage the German and European entity.
Frank Arnoldt founded Computop in 1997 together with Ralf Gladis. Arnoldt continues to be an active CEO of the company where he is responsible for the financial, legal and administrative affairs of the company. With a degree in Business Information Systems and a background as a journalist specialising in IT, Arnoldt occasionally writes articles for the press, which provides some welcome variety to his everyday duties for the company.
Ralf Gladis founded Computop in 1997 together with Frank Arnoldt. In the early years, he worked as software architect in the successful development of the Computop Paygate platform. Gladis had gained the necessary understanding of technology as a student of Business Information Systems at the University of Bamberg. Today, as founding director, he is responsible for international expansion and for Computop's strategic direction.
Stephan Kück has been responsible for company’s development in Germany and Europe since 2010. Prior to working at Computop, Kück worked for the Savings Bank Bamberg for almost 20 years where he was in charge of media sales, payment processing and IT, amongst other things. He also took responsibility for organisation management before moving to Computop.
